On Sunday Round 4 Mens Pennants Division 6 and Division 7 was held at Meadow Springs Golf Club
Division 6
Our Division 6 team played against Secret Harbour GC
A special mention to one of our promising juniors in Kai Raina-Walker who made his men’s Pennants debut in this match , made all the more special with Kai being able to secure 1/2 point in his match which proved vital in securing a 3.5 to 2.5 win. Congratulations to Dave Monaghan who scored his first win for Pinjarra GC. The overall win has lifted the side up to 3rd on the ladder .

Our Division 7 team played Kwinana GC. For the second week in a row the team came away with a 3-3 draw.

On Sunday Round 3 Mens Pennants Division 6 was held at The Cut GC and Division 7 was held at Kwinana GC

Our Division 6 team played against Mandurah GC
The team was able to notch up their first win of the season with and impressive 5 matches to 1 victory. Special mentions , go out firstly to Scott Vallow who was able to notch up his first Pennants win for the club. Secondly to Nev Black who played almost flawless golf to notch up a 9 &8 . To the uninitiated this means Nev was able to win 9 of the 10 holes that were played – super effort Nev

Division 7
Our Division 7 team played Kwinana GC at Kwinana. Playing a team at their home course is always a daunting task. However in what turned out to be a very tight battle, the honours were shared and the team came away with a very respectable 3 matches to 3 draw .

Round 2 Mens Pennants
On Sunday Round 2 Mens Pennants was held at Pinjarra Golf Club.
Division 6
Our Division 6 team played against Rockingham Golf Club

In what turned out to be a trying day for the team , we unfortunately went down 4 matches to 2
Next Sunday we take on Mandurah at The Cut Hopefully we can chalk up our first win of the season

Our Division 7 team played Mandurah GC in their match
Liam Geary won his match 3&2
Unfortunately the team went down 5 matches to 1. The actual match was a lot closer than the score indicated. With 3 matches – Paul Beeson Esq, Rob Smallwood and Mark Ryan’s all headed down the 18th hole all square, unfortunately all 3 lost their last hole and subsequently their matches 1 down .
Next Sunday the team takes on Kwinana GC at Kwinana . Hopefully Div 7 can register their 1st W of their season
