Saturday May 11, saw a field of 130 players participate in this year’s Pinjarra Cup which saw Terry Shelton win with a score of 40 Stableford points.
An individual highlight for the day was a Hole in One by Geoff Stevens on Number 4 (coincidentally same hole that a car was put up for a prize a few weeks ago!!). He achieved this rare feat with a beautifully struck 6-iron, a nice slight draw trajectory which never looked like missing. I did mention rare feat, well not so rare for Geoff, as it was his 6th ace! Congratulations Geoff. And to add the icing on the cake, Geoff won the Gross with 33 points, playing off a handicap of 4.
