Our Sincere appreciation to Sam Khamhing and Alan Fitzgerald for their generous sponsorship for “Shelley Fitzgerald’s Memorial Day”. Included in the field was Judy Borgward who was Shelley’s playing partner to many events over many years. Judy teamed up with Jye from Meadow Springs. Tamara Fitchett (new member) and Ken Lawler (her father) as well as Kerry Adams, Karen Newman and Tracy Barrington from our 9-hole ladies’ group. Several Mandurah GC members Donna Walker, Sylvia Jenkins and Jimmy Lee joining the group along with all the core team of regular players.
A field of 36 players enjoyed cooler weather and played 4BBB with some amazing scores.

I would like to personally thank Mitchell (General Manager) Pro Shop Staff, all kitchen-bar staff for accommodating this group to play throughout the year. To all the members who continually assist in the kitchen on a regular basis, your contribution does not go unnoticed. The grounds staff had plenty of comments for the state of our wonderful greens, well done Neal and his team.
