9 HOLE LADIES OPEN DAY 2024 WRAP UP
Our 2024 9 Hole Ladies Day was held on Wednesday 29th May and there was some doubt as to whether or not we would get to play. After a delayed start a depleted field got to play in conditions that were not that bad, only one really heavy shower. The scores did reflect the poor weather.
The winners this year were Dianne Bacon and Emily Marks with a score of 20. Coming second were Karen Newman and Marie Almond with 15 on a countback from Jo Garnsworthy and Diane Pattison on 15. All Pinjarra girls.
The novelties were won by Lee Negri and Sara Minchin with a N.T.P. on #2 and they also took out the long drive on #5. Di Bacon and Emily Marks won the long putt on #9. Once again, all Pinjarra girls.
A big thank you to Greg from Liquor Traders Australia, our major sponsor for the third year running for the lovely wine we were given to use for our trophies. We also had a good response for our raffles and made $260.00 on the day. Thanks Val.
The 9 Hole ladies are also due a big thank you for donating the lovely assortment of sweets we enjoyed on the day and the muffins and biscuits we enjoyed with our morning cuppa. Most impressive. Another big thank you to everyone who helped on the day, the 18 hole ladies who helped and to all the staff, both office and greens who did such a good job
